Tamil Nadu Foundation is pleased to invite players from all over the USA to play in the largest and most prestigious online chess tournament on Saturday, 20-APR-2024, 10 AM – 6 PM(CT)
Our upcoming tournament is now open for registration, and we’re thrilled to invite all students up to grade 12 and adults (18+) to participate. This inclusive event aims to bring together a diverse group of players for a memorable experience.
Participants have the option to compete in two categories: Unrated and USCF-Rated. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or a first-time participant, there’s a category for everyone. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to engage, connect, and support our community. Unrated Championship Section: 4 rounds.
Rated Championship Section: 4 rounds.
All Sections: (Swiss system) Everyone plays 4 games against players with approximately the same number of wins and losses after each round. There is no elimination, each player will play all 4 games. This is an all-day event. It is recommended to log in before 9:30 am (CT) to play the first round (of 4 rounds). If you’re late to the log in you could end up missing round 1. The first round will begin at 10 am CT.
There are no predetermined round times after the first round. Rounds will start as soon as possible after all the games from that section have ended.
G25 +5seconds: The time control will be game in 25 minutes with a 5-second increment.

***New players to the US Chess Federation or those whose memberships have expired, log into Join US Chess|US Chess.org and create/renew your ID. Be sure to pay the $ 20 fee!
Online Registration closes Friday, 19-Apr-2024, at 8 PM (CT).
Upon completing the tournament registration process, you will receive a confirmation email from us.
Your Chesstronics credentials (USERID/PASSWORD) will be sent to your registered email one day before the event. Clear instructions on how to sign on and join the tournament online will be included. If you do not receive the email, please be sure to check your spam folder.
