Program Highlights

2018 TNF Convention Program Schedule

  • This is a TENTATIVE outline and is subject to change. We will do our best to keep the major programs on the specific day mentioned in the outline
  • Detailed schedule will be posted on this site few days before the convention
  • Program starts at 9 AM on both days and will end around 11 P.M.
  • Presentation on TNF’s charitable activities in Tamil Nadu will be made throughout the day on both days
  • Youth Convention (5th graders and above) and Youth Expo (for kids of all ages) will be held on both days, morning and afternoon
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) by ATM will be held in the mornings on both days. Separate registration required
  • American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association (ATEA) Regional Conference – 8 am to 7 pm on Sunday, May 27th. Separate registration required.

  • District-focused parade by our children
  • Ms. Nithyasree Mahadevan’s Tamil Isai Virundhu
  • American-Tamil youth on their volunteering experience in Tamil Nadu
Afternoon
  • Pattimandram with Mr. Raja and Mrs. Bharathi Bhaskar
    • பட்டிமன்ற தலைப்பு : “சின்ன சின்ன பொய்கள் வாழ்வில் – சுகமே!! சுமையே!!”
  • Hilarious stage play – அப்பா! அப்பப்பா !!
    • 27th Production by Stage Friends (USA), written by SL. Naanu
  • Carnatic Music Workshop with Ms. Nithaysree – separate registration required
Night
  • “Karna”: – A majestic dance musical
